The role available is a Housekeeper position, focused on maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel's guest rooms and common areas. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to established cleaning protocols ensuring guest rooms are consistently maintained to the highest standards. The Housekeeper will perform essential tasks such as cleaning bathroom fixtures, dusting furniture, making beds, vacuuming, and replenishing room supplies. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and cleaning guidelines
- Willingness to work as part of a team and provide excellent guest service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and handle cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
Job Duties
- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping
- Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents
- Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly
- Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room
- Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart
- Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
