Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of guest rooms, such as changing linens, making beds, dusting, scrubbing floors, toilets, showers and sinks, vacuuming carpets, removing fingerprints from mirrors and glass, shining surfaces, and replenishing guest supplies. The role requires not only physical stamina and attention to detail but also a proactive attitude in identifying safety hazards and reporting maintenance issues or damage promptly. The attendant will update room status through the hotel’s property management system and maintain an organized cleaning cart and linen storage area. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- At least one year of housekeeping experience preferably in hospitality
- Physical dexterity and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
- An eye for detail
- Knowledge of mixing and using cleaning products safely and appropriately
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds, bend, stretch, kneel, and reach
Job Qualifications

- Capable of updating room status using property management systems

Job Duties
- Performs thorough cleaning of guest rooms and bathrooms including changing linens, making beds, dusting, scrubbing floors and fixtures, vacuuming, removing fingerprints and smudges from mirrors and glass, shining surfaces, replenishing guest supplies
- Removes used guest amenities and trash from rooms
- Inspects rooms for safety hazards and operational conditions of equipment
- Checks for damage or missing items and reports them
- Reports lost and found articles and maintenance problems to Hotel Supervisor or Manager
- Prepares rooms for guest arrival and responds to special guest requests
- Updates room status through property management system
- Maintains cleaning cart and linen storage area properly
- Provides excellent guest service to internal and external guests
- Supports the company culture by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly
- Performs other duties as assigned
