The housekeeper's responsibilities encompass changing bed linens, replenishing bath linens, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and thoroughly cleaning bathroom fixtures such as sinks, counters, tubs, showers, and toilets. Additionally, the housekeeper is tasked with restocking room amenities like tissues and soaps to contribute to guests' convenience and satisfaction. Beyond cleaning duties, the role involves monitoring and reporting maintenance issues promptly to ensure that all guest rooms remain in optimal condition. \n\nAttention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive approach to guest requests define the housekeeper's contributions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and standards
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents
  • Clean assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards including changing bed linens
  • Collect used bath linens and replenish with fresh linens
  • Dust hard surfaces
  • Vacuum carpeted areas
  • Clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet, etc.
  • Replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.
  • Stock supply cart with supplies necessary for cleaning guest rooms
  • Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork
  • Notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms
  • Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently
