We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Guest Relations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal as it places you at the heart of our hotel operations, being the main point of contact for guests at the front desk. The Guest Relations Manager leads a team to ensure a seamless, welcoming, and superior guest experience, while maintaining all Concord and brand standards. As a Guest Relations Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting the overall guest experience from arrival to departure. You will oversee front desk operations, ensuring the team is well-trained in check-in and check-out procedures, telephone handling, knowledge of hotel amenities, and use of computer systems. Additionally, you will enforce financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables, guaranteeing operational integrity. As the manager on duty, you will also be the point person for any issues needing immediate attention, ensuring swift resolutions that uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with computers and front desk software
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Acts as manager on duty for hotel and manages front desk operations
  • Ensures front desk staff is trained in all front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures telephone procedures hotel amenities and computer systems
  • Ensures front desk staff is trained in and follows financial control procedures for cash vouchers inventories and receivables
  • Provides support and guidance to front desk team to ensure superior guest service
  • Maintains all brand and Concord standards at the front desk
  • Addresses and resolves guest issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Leads a cohesive team focused on delivering excellent service
