Job Requirements

  • Availability to work all shifts
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or hotel management preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in front desk or guest relations management
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • knowledge of hotel operations and brand standards
  • experience with financial and revenue management
  • ability to train and mentor staff
  • understanding of safety, health, and security regulations
  • proficiency with hotel management software and computer systems

Job Duties

  • Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel
  • personally demonstrates a commitment to guest services in responding promptly to guest needs
  • ensures all front desk staff are trained in front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures
  • acts as manager on duty and manages front desk operations
  • leads and assists in revenue management functions and participates in corporate and brand revenue management calls
  • manages human resources functions including recruiting, training, performance evaluation, and rewards
  • maintains a positive and cooperative work environment
  • enforces safety and security standards and procedures
  • manages preventive maintenance programs and schedules deep-cleaning activities to maintain property standards
  • produces accurate financial reports on time
