You will be responsible for making residents feel comfortable from the moment they arrive, assisting them with settling in, and providing ongoing support to meet their individual needs.

Success in this role requires a warm and welcoming demeanor, proactive attention to residents' and guests' needs, and the ability to coordinate various activities and events seamlessly. You will be expected to provide comfort items, explain facility amenities, host tours, assist with dining arrangements, and support recreational activities. Additionally, you will make daily rounds to ensure residents' well-being, greet visitors warmly, and collaborate closely with staff across departments to deliver a high standard of guest and resident services.
Your responsibilities will also include assisting with resident discharges, ensuring belongings are packed properly, and following up with discharged residents to confirm their safe arrival and satisfaction with our services. This role plays a crucial part in fostering a positive facility atmosphere and upholding the high standards of care that our organization is known for.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Welcome new residents by escorting them to their rooms and assisting with unpacking and room setup
- Provide comfort by offering water, snacks, meals with nurse approval, blankets, pillows, and other comfort items
- Orient guests by explaining facility amenities including phone and TV use, dining options, activities, and salon services
- Host tours to families and guests showcasing amenities and resident-centered services
- Coordinate dining and events by assisting with guest meal arrangements, private dining room setup, and family events
- Support activities by helping residents attend activities or engage in self-initiated and in-room leisure
- Make daily rounds to check on residents to ensure comfort and promptly meet any needs
- Engage visitors by greeting them warmly, remembering names, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Collaborate with staff across departments to coordinate guest and resident services
- Assist with discharges by helping pack belongings, carry items, and provide support during discharge
- Follow up with discharged residents to ensure safe arrival and satisfaction with their care experience
