Job Description
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, a distinguished luxury hotel brand within Marriott International, combines timeless glamour with a forward-thinking spirit to offer exquisite experiences at more than 50 prestigious locations worldwide. The brand's storied history began with the debut of the St. Regis Hotel in New York City, founded by John Jacob Astor IV in the early 20th century. Since then, St. Regis has been synonymous with unparalleled service, combining classic sophistication with modern sensibilities and exclusive butler service. By joining St. Regis, associates become part of a globally renowned portfolio under Marriott International, a company committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment.
This full-time, non-management position based at 9703 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, Florida, situated in the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category, seeks a dedicated professional to provide exceptional guest support and ensure an unforgettable stay. The role requires proactive communication with guests, informing them about hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local attractions to enhance their experience. The candidate will serve as a vital link between guests and various hotel departments such as bell services, front desk, housekeeping, engineering, and security, facilitating prompt resolution of guest requests or concerns.
Key responsibilities include accurately receiving, recording, and transmitting guest messages; managing VIP arrivals with a focus on personalized service; and responding to special requests from guests with exceptional needs. The position demands adherence to company policies and procedures, reporting of workplace accidents or unsafe conditions, maintaining a professional appearance, and safeguarding proprietary information and company assets.
Candidates must demonstrate professional and clear communication skills, both verbally and over the phone, as well as cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve collective goals. The role involves anticipating guest needs, providing genuine appreciation, and supporting continuous quality assurance standards. It also encourages innovative thinking to recommend new ideas, technologies, or processes that enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
Physically, the job requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking during a typical workday and the occasional handling of objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently. The candidate may be assigned additional reasonable duties by supervisors.
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts emphasizes creating a welcoming, inclusive environment that values and celebrates diverse cultural backgrounds, talents, and experiences. Marriott International does not discriminate against individuals based on disability, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. Joining the team means developing your career within a supportive global network where you can perform at your best, fulfill your purpose, and grow into your best version within an incredible worldwide team.
