The Guest Operations Outer Area Coordinator role is a match day only fixed term contract position based onsite in Kansas City. Reporting directly to the Guest Operations Stadium Manager, this role plays a pivotal role within the Guest Operations team at the stadium, working closely with Transport, Safety & Security, Guest Relations, and other departments responsible for V/VIP operations. The coordinator will manage and oversee the outer area guest flow and navigation during match days, focusing on the arrival and departure processes of V/VIP guests. This responsibility includes ensuring that guests are greeted promptly, guided effectively to entry points, and directed securely upon leaving the venue, maintaining an exceptional standard of hospitality and professionalism.

Critical to the role is the coordination with security teams and event staff to ensure seamless and safe ingress and egress for select guests, while maintaining the confidentiality and discretion expected at high-profile events. Effective communication with stadium personnel and team members is essential to facilitate smooth operations and quickly resolve any potential crowd control issues. The coordinator is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, decisiveness, and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to innovate and take initiative in dynamic event environments. Candidates suitable for this role will bring a combination of hospitality and guest management expertise, hospitality operations experience, and specific knowledge related to managing V/VIP guest experiences at major sporting events, preferably stadium operations. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with Spanish and/or French being advantageous. Strong technological skills with MS Office applications will support organizational and reporting tasks. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years hospitality and guest management experience with operational experience
  • solid knowledge and experience in stadium operations and V/VIP guest experience
  • experience supporting V/VIP hospitality programs at major sporting events
  • fluent in English
  • proficient in MS Office Excel Word PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Guide and support the arrival flow of V/VIP guests ensuring prompt greeting and clear navigation to entry points
  • utilize V/VIP guest tracking tools to ensure guests are accurately directed to their designated departure points post-match
  • coordinate with security and event staff to ensure smooth guest entry while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
  • maintain effective communication with other team members stadium staff and security to facilitate the smooth movement of guests during arrivals and departures
  • proactively identify and resolve any crowd control issues ensuring select guests can navigate to their entry and departure points
  • proactively troubleshoot issues on-site and report incidents promptly to the Guest Operations Stadium Manager
