Job Description

The Escape Game is a leading entertainment company specializing in immersive, interactive escape room experiences designed to challenge, entertain, and bring people together. Situated in a dynamic location known as The Summit, the company prides itself on offering world-class hospitality and creating memorable experiences that go beyond simple games. With an emphasis on creativity, teamwork, and exceptional customer service, The Escape Game continues to expand its footprint as a sought-after destination for social outings and corporate events alike. They are dedicated to crafting an environment where guests feel welcomed, engaged, and excited to participate in their uniquely themed rooms that test problem-solving skills under time constraints.

The role of Guest Experience Specialist (GES) at The Escape Game is integral to delivering this exceptional experience. The GES serves as the ambassador of the brand’s hospitality standards and is responsible for creating a fun, upbeat, and inviting atmosphere in the lobby area. These specialists are much like expert party hosts who take pride in anticipating every guest's needs and offering enthusiastic service to ensure satisfaction. This position requires a high degree of emotional intelligence to effectively read and respond to guests’ moods and needs, making each visitor feel appreciated and eager to participate.

As a Guest Experience Specialist, individuals carry the vital responsibility of being the first and last impression guests have of The Escape Game. This role involves a variety of duties such as preparing the party venue, connecting with guests on a personal level, maintaining high energy, and customizing experiences to delight every party size—from small groups to large gatherings of 50 or more. GES team members embody the company’s core values, including courtesy, communication, and cleanliness, which are pillars of The Escape Game’s renowned hospitality habits.

Further responsibilities include explaining game rules clearly, managing guest check-ins, coordinating game start times efficiently with Team Leaders, handling reservation bookings accurately, and providing consistent, welcoming communication. The Guest Experience Specialist must be capable of adapting to a lively and sometimes fast-paced environment, engaging guests with open body language and conversational questions to maintain a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout their visit.

Additionally, The Escape Game prioritizes problem-solving and service recovery as essential parts of the Guest Experience Specialist's role. They must be skilled in promptly and gracefully addressing any service issues that arise. This role demands flexibility, as it often requires working nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate guests' schedules. Physical stamina is also critical, with tasks involving standing for long periods, moderate lifting, and performing minor maintenance duties such as cleaning and game repairs.

Overall, becoming a Guest Experience Specialist at The Escape Game offers a vibrant, interactive work environment where hospitality meets creativity. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in social settings, enjoy working with diverse groups, and want to play a key role in crafting memorable entertainment experiences. This position supports the company's mission of creating unforgettable moments, fostering teamwork, and delivering top-tier customer satisfaction consistently.
