Job Description
SVG Motors is a distinguished automotive dealership located in Beavercreek, Ohio, known for revolutionizing the car buying experience. Unlike typical dealerships, SVG Motors rejects the traditional high-pressure sales approach and commissioned sales models. Instead, it offers a streamlined purchase process that typically takes less than an hour and includes a unique seven-day return policy. Founded on the principle that buying a car should be free of stress and conflict, SVG Motors emphasizes exceptional customer care, transparency, and respect throughout the entire buying journey. The company has cultivated a reputation for valuing each customer as an individual, ensuring every visitor feels acknowledged and important regardless of whether they make a purchase. This customer-centric approach is firmly embedded in the culture and operations of SVG Motors, setting it apart within the automotive retail industry.
The role of Guest Experience Specialist at SVG Motors transcends traditional duties found in detail jobs, lot attendant roles, or greeter positions. It uniquely integrates elements of all these responsibilities while adding much more meaningful engagement focused on creating exceptional experiences for customers and guests. This full-time position, based at the Beavercreek location, offers a base salary of $800 per week, translating to an annual base salary of approximately $41,600, plus a performance-based bonus structure that rewards outstanding guest interaction and vehicle quality control. Successful specialists can earn between $55,000 and $65,000 or more annually through the combination of base pay and performance bonuses.
This position is pivotal as the Guest Experience Specialists serve as the face of SVG Motors, providing the final and lasting impression for every customer. They are entrusted with welcoming guests warmly and authentically, conveying the SVG story, and ensuring no customer or guest feels ignored or unattended – especially during busy periods. Specialists are responsible for managing the guest experience with genuine hospitality, handling everything from greeting and offering refreshments to escorting guests appropriately and keeping the waiting process pleasant.
Beyond hospitality, this role requires meticulous attention to vehicle quality control. Specialists conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections of all sold vehicles, sign off on vehicle readiness, and ensure no vehicle leaves with unresolved issues. They also participate in vehicle delivery by orienting customers to their new vehicles using a detailed checklist, including technology setups like Bluetooth connectivity and app usage. Additionally, they play a crucial role in maintaining lot and facility standards through regular inspections, coordinating with sales and service teams, and ensuring cars on the lot are properly staged, clean, and priced.
The schedule is designed to support comprehensive coverage from Monday through Saturday, aligning staff availability with peak customer hours. SVG Motors prioritizes a work environment that values detail orientation, ownership, and hospitality skills, welcoming candidates from various backgrounds, including hospitality, automotive, and customer service sectors. While automotive experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory; the right attitude and dedication to excellent guest experiences are paramount.
In summary, the Guest Experience Specialist role at SVG Motors is more than a job – it is an opportunity to represent a company committed to changing the automotive retail landscape through innovative customer service, quality control, and genuine care for every visitor. Individuals who take pride in their work, embrace responsibility, and excel in creating meaningful connections with guests will find this position rewarding and impactful.
