The Guest Experience Team at Typhoon Texas Waterpark is the heartbeat of the park's lively atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include facilitating interactive programming such as games and park-wide activities, engaging visitors as they wait in attraction lines by playing trivia and leading sing-alongs, and encouraging crowd participation to ensure everyone feels included in the excitement. In addition to these entertainment duties, the role involves serving as a recognizable face in the park's social media content, contributing to promotional videos, and collaborating with the marketing team on creative projects. Maintaining a professional yet enthusiastic brand presence is key to enhancing the park's identity both on-site and across digital platforms.

The role also requires proactive hospitality skills, where you would roam designated zones to create spontaneous "wow" moments through small-scale entertainment and guest interactions. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, including setup, execution, and breakdown of entertainment props, sound equipment, and prize distribution. Ensuring safety and adherence to the park's family-friendly policies during all activities is paramount.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in performance, entertainment, or related fields preferred
  • Ability to engage and entertain diverse guest demographics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform active duties outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and positive attitude in high-energy environments
  • Passionate about guest service and creating memorable experiences

Job Qualifications

  • High-energy, outgoing personality with ability to entertain and lead groups
  • Comfortable performing, singing, and speaking in front of large crowds and on camera
  • Previous experience in performance, camp counseling, or social media content creation is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to improvise in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
