Their core belief is that life is enriched by meaningful connections, which is reflected in their dedication to creating lasting memories for guests, residents, and partners alike.
The Guest Experience Manager role at Four Seasons is a critical leadership position based within The Merchant Room, a distinguished French-American steakhouse created in partnership with Chef Gavin Kaysen. The restaurant presents a sophisticated dining experience that blends classic steakhouse traditions with French-inspired culinary artistry. This role is ideal for a hospitality-driven leader who holds a deep appreciation of fine dining and maintains a commitment to service excellence. The Guest Experience Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring that every guest receives a polished and memorable experience in an elevated setting. Responsibilities include managing and motivating the bistro staff, including supervisors and assistant managers, while playing a key role in strategic planning and sustained operational success.
This position requires contributing to the final preparations before the grand opening and maintaining a strong presence within the restaurant to promote positive guest interactions. The Manager will handle guest concerns with professionalism, maintain the presentation and quality of food products, and collaborate closely with culinary and beverage teams to curate fresh menus and curated wine selections. Operational responsibilities encompass labor management, budget oversight, procurement, inventory control, and ensuring cash management protocols are robust and efficient. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of leadership, operational expertise, and hospitality insight. Effective communication skills and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment are essential, alongside a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations within a luxury setting. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer contributions, and paid time off from day one. Employees also benefit from an inclusive workplace culture, access to discounted hotel stays worldwide, and opportunities for professional development and continuing education through tuition reimbursement.
