Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant franchisee independently owning and operating a McDonald’s restaurant. While this franchisee uses the renowned McDonald’s branding, logos, and food products, it operates as a separate business entity from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee independently manages all employment-related matters including recruitment, hiring, firing, supervision, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. Potential candidates should understand that their employment relationship will be strictly with the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, which has no influence or control over employment decisions or processes at the franchisee-operated restaurant.

The role available is for a Guest Experience Leader, a pivotal position focused on enhancing and creating memorable customer service moments. Starting pay for this role is competitive, beginning at $20 per hour with the potential to earn up to $21 per hour. This part-time position is designed for individuals seeking flexibility, allowing them to balance work with other life ambitions such as continuing education or personal development. Shift hours are generally between 8am and 8pm, accommodating a variety of schedules.

A Guest Experience Leader plays a crucial role in the restaurant by greeting guests warmly, assisting them with orders and technology like ordering kiosks, and ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience. This role also involves providing additional support to guests as needed, checking in post-order to guarantee satisfaction, and addressing any customer concerns promptly and effectively. The position demands excellent communication skills to liaise with both customers and restaurant team members, offering feedback and recommendations to continuously improve the service quality and guest experience.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are enthusiastic about representing the McDonald’s brand positively. It offers a supportive atmosphere where employees can grow their skills and advance their careers. The franchisee is committed to providing an inclusive and energetic workplace where employees are encouraged to be themselves, learn new skills, and enjoy what they do.

Working as a Guest Experience Leader provides access to substantial benefits such as competitive wages, educational assistance through the Archways to Opportunity program, which offers high school completion assistance, college tuition aid, and English language classes for speakers of other languages. Additional perks include meal discounts, free meals during shifts, and various employee discount programs that help enhance the overall job satisfaction.

The role is more than just a job; it’s a chance to start a meaningful career path within the McDonald’s system, known for promoting from within and offering growth opportunities to ambitious employees. Whether you are a student, someone looking to build customer service expertise, or an individual aiming to find a supportive and rewarding workplace, the Guest Experience Leader role is designed to meet those needs. The franchisee encourages candidates with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the capability to thrive in a team setting to apply and become part of a growing business that values hard work and dedication.
