Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant that operates as an independently owned and operated franchise, separate from McDonald's USA. Although this franchisee has a license to use McDonald's logos and food products in their restaurant operations, it functions as a distinct company with its own management and hiring practices. Employment decisions, including hiring, firing, staffing, discipline, and scheduling, are solely managed by the franchisee and not by McDonald's USA. This distinction is important for prospective employees to understand since their employment relationship will be with the franchisee, not the parent company McDonald's USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters within the restaurant.

The position available is that of a Guest Experience Leader, a role designed for individuals who seek a part-time job that accommodates their life and ambitions. This job is ideal for those who enjoy working in a dynamic and energizing environment, want to build valuable skills, and need a schedule that supports their education or other pursuits. The role offers a competitive starting pay of up to $16.50 per hour and is based on shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. It is suitable for those aged 16 years or older.

As a Guest Experience Leader, you will play a key role in creating welcoming and enjoyable experiences for guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, assisting them with ordering, including explaining how to use self-service kiosks, and ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service. You will check on guests after their meals to confirm satisfaction or identify any additional needs, provide treats to children, handle any concerns or issues politely and efficiently, and communicate effectively with team members to share feedback and suggestions for improvement. This role demands an outstanding attitude, an eagerness to learn and grow, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere. Prior experience is not required, as the franchisee provides comprehensive training to prepare you for success.

The environment at this restaurant encourages personal growth and development, supporting employees who want to pursue their education or enhance their skills. The franchisee participates in programs like Archways to Opportunity, which offer educational benefits such as high school completion assistance, college tuition support, and English language classes for non-native speakers. Additional benefits include access to competitive pay packages and the possibility of unpaid leaves of absence. This job provides a unique chance to build a rewarding career path in the hospitality industry while working with a team that values energy, purpose, and a positive guest experience.

This position is not simply a job but a stepping stone toward personal and professional growth, set within a company committed to being America's best first job. It encourages employees to make their move with confidence, supporting diverse goals and lifestyles. By joining this restaurant team, you become part of a culture focused on inclusion, respect, and motivation that helps you to reach beyond what you thought was possible and achieve your dreams.
