Job Description
This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a franchisee licensed to use McDonald's trademarks, logos, and food products but is not affiliated directly with McDonald's USA. This means that the franchisee is a separate business entity responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, firing, staffing, supervision, and scheduling of employees for the McDonald's restaurant. The franchisee manages employee relations and operations independently of McDonald's USA, which has no involvement in employment processes or decisions. This setup offers a unique experience working under the iconic McDonald's brand while being part of a smaller, independently operated business that values its team members and provides local management support and flexibility.
The role available is for a Guest Experience Leader, a vibrant and dynamic position focused on creating memorable and positive experiences for every guest that walks into the restaurant. This position is ideal for individuals who are looking for a flexible part-time job that supports their life goals, whether they are continuing their education, developing new skills, or looking for a stepping stone in the hospitality or service industry. This role emphasizes a collaborative team environment where energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are key. Guest Experience Leaders interact closely with customers, ensuring they feel welcomed, assisted, and satisfied throughout their visit.
In this role, you will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests and assisting them with orders both at the counter and through digital kiosks. The role also involves offering personal assistance to guests who may require it, ensuring families and children receive special attention such as kid treats, and promptly addressing any customer concerns or feedback. The Guest Experience Leader plays a pivotal role in communicating guest feedback to the rest of the restaurant team to improve service levels continuously.
The schedule for this role is designed to be flexible, with working hours available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., allowing employees to fit their jobs around school or other commitments. The position offers competitive pay and a range of benefits designed to support both personal and professional growth, making it an excellent first job or a part-time position for those balancing other priorities. The company also provides programs such as college tuition assistance, high school completion support, and English language courses, emphasizing its commitment to employee development and long-term success.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on teamwork, and want to deliver exceptional guest experiences, this role presents a fantastic opportunity to start or continue your career. Training is provided to ensure you are successful, regardless of prior experience. By joining this team, you will not only gain valuable job skills but also be part of a company dedicated to being America's best first job, offering the tools and support needed to succeed and grow.
