Job Description

This job opportunity is presented by a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. Unlike McDonald's USA, which is the brand's corporate entity, this franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products while managing the restaurant autonomously. This means all employment matters—from hiring to scheduling—are handled exclusively by the franchisee and not McDonald's USA. This ensures the franchisee maintains control over their operations, staffing, and workplace environment.

This position is for a Guest Experience Leader role, designed to offer flexibility, growth, and a supportive work environment. The company seeks energetic individuals who want to have fun, are up for challenges, and need a schedule that fits their lifestyle. Whether you are a student balancing coursework or someone aiming to build your skills and career, this part-time role accommodates your life and aspirations by allowing you to choose your hours, pursue your education, and develop new skills.

The role of the Guest Experience Leader is to create memorable, positive moments for customers at the restaurant. This includes greeting guests warmly, assisting them with ordering—especially with digital kiosks—and ensuring that guests, including children, feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit. The Guest Experience Leader also addresses any concerns guests might have and communicates feedback to the restaurant team to continuously improve the customer experience.

The franchise emphasizes that its team members are inspired to say yes—to bringing enthusiasm and purpose to their work, learning new skills, serving quality food, and making sure all interactions feel good for both guests and colleagues. The job environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, suitable for individuals who are eager to grow, enjoy working with people, and want to build valuable professional skills.

Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, this role offers tangible benefits, such as competitive pay and various health coverages including medical, dental, and vision. Employees can take advantage of 401k plans with matching contributions and paid time off, plus unpaid leave options when needed. The franchise supports educational development through Archways to Opportunity, which offers high school completion programs, college tuition assistance, and English language courses to help team members achieve their personal and career goals.

In addition, employees enjoy discounts and free or discounted meals during their shifts. The McDonald's franchisee aims to be America's best first job by fostering an atmosphere of learning, respect, and opportunity where individuals can find a career path that aligns with their ambitions.

Working as a Guest Experience Leader is more than a typical part-time job; it’s a chance to join a committed team, gain new skills, and lay the foundation for future success. The position is open for shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., accommodating various schedules to meet diverse employee needs.
