Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant independently owned and operated by a franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s logos and food products. Unlike corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants, this franchisee operates as a separate company and is the actual employer responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, scheduling, and staff management. This distinction means that while the brand and food quality remain consistent with McDonald’s standards, employment decisions and workplace environment are governed entirely by the franchisee. This offers a unique blend of working for a globally recognized brand while being part of a locally managed team where your employment experience is personalized and community-oriented.

The establishment is a McDonald’s restaurant that values energetic, motivated team members who are excited about delivering quality service and memorable guest experiences. Employees enjoy a dynamic work environment where learning new skills, collaboration, and personal growth are encouraged. The restaurant emphasizes creating feel-good moments with customers and supporting team members in balancing work with their life goals, such as continuing their education or pursuing personal interests. This approach reflects McDonald’s long-standing commitment to being America’s best first job by providing meaningful work opportunities that help individuals develop professionally and personally.

The position available is for a Guest Experience Leader, a role pivotal in shaping the overall customer journey within the restaurant. As a Guest Experience Leader, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting guests, assisting with orders, and ensuring a positive and efficient dining experience. Your responsibilities will include helping customers use ordering kiosks, providing attentive service especially to guests needing extra assistance, and checking back to ensure satisfaction with food and service. This role demands a welcoming attitude, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle queries or concerns gracefully. By fostering a friendly atmosphere and addressing guest needs proactively, you contribute to building lasting customer relationships and enhancing the restaurant's reputation.

Working hours for the Guest Experience Leader position are flexible, covering the period from 8am to 8pm, thus supporting part-time employment that fits well with other personal or academic commitments. The franchisee offers competitive pay, benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k retirement plans with matching contributions, paid time off, and unpaid leaves of absence. Additionally, they provide educational opportunities through programs such as Archways to Opportunity, which offers high school completion assistance, college tuition support, and English language courses for non-native speakers. Employees also benefit from discount programs and free or discounted meals.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and who are looking for a job that is more than just work but a chance to grow skills, earn steady income, and engage with a supportive community. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to qualify. The franchisee fosters an inclusive and flexible workplace culture designed to help every team member succeed and move forward in their career path. If you are eager to join a team where you can be yourself, enjoy work, and make a positive impact on both guests and coworkers, this Guest Experience Leader role offers a rewarding first or continuing job experience.
