Job Description
This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a franchisee authorized to use the McDonald's brand, logos, and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald's USA and functions independently. The franchisee has exclusive control over employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, scheduling, and staffing within the restaurant. Therefore, if you are hired, the franchisee will be your employer, and McDonald's USA will not be involved in decisions regarding your employment, including interviews or hiring. This distinction highlights the autonomy of the franchisee and ensures clarity regarding the employment relationship for prospective candidates.
The restaurant operates with a strong commitment to providing a welcoming and dynamic work environment that supports employees' personal and professional growth. The position available is for a Guest Experience Leader—a role that embodies the spirit of hospitality and service excellence. This role is designed for individuals seeking a flexible part-time job that complements their full-time ambitions, whether pursuing education or other life goals. The Guest Experience Leader will have the opportunity to work between 8am and 8pm, choosing hours that suitable fit their scheduling needs.
The core of this role revolves around creating exceptional customer experiences. The Guest Experience Leader will engage warmly with guests by greeting them, assisting with ordering through kiosks, offering help to those needing extra support, and ensuring that families, especially those with children, feel valued through gestures like offering kid treats. The leader will also check back with guests after their meals to confirm satisfaction or address any additional needs, fostering a positive atmosphere and ensuring repeat visits.
Communicating effectively with both guests and team members is essential. The Guest Experience Leader acts as a bridge, relaying feedback and recommendations to the restaurant team to enhance service quality continually. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and possesses a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Previous experience is not mandatory as training will be provided, focusing on developing valuable skills and career growth.
Beyond just a job, this opportunity offers a path toward personal development and educational advancement. The franchisee supports employees through benefits such as college tuition assistance, high school completion programs, English language courses, and skill-building initiatives. This approach underlines the commitment to being America’s best first job, creating a workplace where individuals can launch their careers, grow professionally, and achieve their goals.
