Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use the McDonald's brand, logos, and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee operates as a separate entity and employer from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds full responsibility for the employment process, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling of employees at this particular restaurant. McDonald's USA is not involved in the employment decisions and will not receive any application information or participate in interviews or hiring decisions.

The restaurant operates under the well-known McDonald's brand, a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry. McDonald's has a strong reputation for serving high-quality food efficiently and providing a positive customer experience. Working in a franchise-operated McDonald's restaurant offers employees the chance to be part of this reputable global brand while enjoying a work environment focused on growth, leadership, and excellent guest service.

The role available is that of a Guest Experience Leader, an entry-level but highly impactful position within the restaurant team. This role is designed for individuals seeking a part-time job that aligns with their full-time ambitions, offering flexible scheduling between 8 AM and 8 PM to accommodate diverse needs. Guest Experience Leaders are the face of the restaurant, responsible for creating exceptional 'feel-good' moments with every customer interaction. This is an ideal position for people who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have a positive, can-do attitude.

The Guest Experience Leader will be tasked with greeting guests, assisting with order placement including the use of kiosks, and ensuring guests have an excellent dining experience. Part of the role includes checking in with customers after they receive their food to confirm satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring children receive special treats. Communication plays a crucial part in this position; Guest Experience Leaders provide valuable feedback and collaborate closely with the restaurant team to continually improve service quality.

Employers provide comprehensive training for this role, so even candidates without prior food service experience can develop their skills and advance their career. Employees are encouraged to be themselves, pursue their education, and build transferable job skills that open doors to future opportunities. The restaurant team shares a collective enthusiasm for delivering great food and memorable customer moments, fostering an inclusive and supportive work culture.

Additionally, the restaurant offers various benefits including competitive pay and extensive employee support programs. These benefits help employees maintain work-life balance, support personal growth, and improve overall well-being. McDonald's franchise restaurants emphasize career progression with pathways to leadership and educational assistance, making the Guest Experience Leader role a stepping stone to greater professional development.

Starting this role requires friendly and enthusiastic individuals aged 16 or older, ready to learn within a dynamic environment. The franchisee-owner restaurant is committed to being America's best first job for young workers, and they extend a warm invitation for motivated candidates to apply and join their team.
