Job Description

The Ritz-Carlton, located at 10 Avenue Of The Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is part of Marriott International, a globally renowned hospitality company known for delivering luxury experiences and exceptional service. With over 100 award-winning hotels worldwide, The Ritz-Carlton prides itself on creating memorable and unique experiences for its guests, making every interaction count. The company values diversity, fosters an inclusive work environment, and is committed to equal employment opportunities for all, embracing the diverse backgrounds, talents, and experiences of its associates.

This position is a full-time, non-management role within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category. The pay rate offered is $25.08 per hour. The role is based on-site and requires a hands-on approach to ensuring guests receive top-tier assistance throughout their stay. Beyond handling check-in and check-out processes, this role is centered on building an unforgettable guest experience by proactively offering a wide range of services and guidance related to the local area.

The individual in this role, termed an Expert in Guest Experience, is empowered to make decisions and take initiative to meet guest needs promptly. Responsibilities include handling operational tasks, responding to guest requests, compiling reports, and sharing insights about local events and highlights. The role demands agility—standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods—and the ability to manage physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing light objects (under 10 pounds) without assistance.

As an important member of The Ritz-Carlton team, the Expert in Guest Experience must maintain the company’s high standards of service excellence, uphold confidentiality, protect company assets, and present themselves professionally with adherence to uniform and appearance guidelines. The core objective is to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operation through impeccable performance of all assigned duties.

Joining The Ritz-Carlton means becoming part of the "Gold Standards," which include the employee promise, credo, and service values that have earned the brand its leading reputation in luxury hospitality. Employees are expected to live these standards daily by showing kindness, attention, creativity, and compassion. The company fosters a culture where success is defined by empowerment and collective achievement, offering employees the opportunity to be proud of their work and the team they belong to.

Being part of The Ritz-Carlton also means joining Marriott International’s portfolio of brands, providing a global platform to deliver exceptional luxury hospitality and continuous opportunities for personal and professional growth. This role provides a unique chance to be part of an elite team committed to delivering extraordinary care and comfort to guests, contributing positively to the company’s world-class service heritage, and growing into the best version of oneself.
