Job Description

W Seattle, located in the heart of Seattle, Washington, is a vibrant and innovative luxury hotel that is part of the globally renowned W Hotels brand under Marriott International. W Hotels is known for its mission to Ignite Curiosity and Expand Worlds, offering guests an experience that goes beyond traditional luxury accommodations. The brand embraces a culture of originality, innovation, and forward-thinking, making it a standout destination for travelers seeking something unique and memorable. W Seattle reflects this ethos by blending modern design, exceptional service, and a dynamic atmosphere that celebrates new faces and new experiences at every turn.

As part of Marriott International, W Seattle benefits from a rich heritage of hospitality excellence while also pushing the boundaries of what a luxury hotel can offer. This location offers guests a range of amenities and services designed to anticipate and exceed their expectations. From its stylish rooms and suites to its vibrant social spaces and curated local experiences, W Seattle is committed to delivering an unforgettable stay. The hotel also fosters an inclusive workplace culture where all associates are valued for their unique backgrounds and contributions.

The Guest Experience Expert role at W Seattle is a full-time, non-management position that plays a critical part in shaping each guest’s stay from arrival to departure. The pay range for this position is $29.18 per hour, reflecting the value placed on delivering excellent service. Rather than simply processing check-ins and check-outs, Guest Experience Experts focus on creating meaningful and memorable interactions that enhance the overall guest experience. They are empowered to take initiative, move freely throughout their working environment, and perform a variety of tasks that encompass guest service, operational support, and local area guidance.

In this hands-on role, Guest Experience Experts may be responsible for processing operational needs, responding promptly and effectively to guest requests, completing necessary reports, and sharing insights about local attractions and highlights. Their approach to their work involves physical activity, including standing, sitting, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds. Attention to safety, adherence to company policies, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, and upholding professional appearance and communication standards are all essential components of success in this role.

Candidates do not need prior related work or supervisory experience to apply for this position, although a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Marriott International’s commitment to equal opportunity and diversity means that all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of their background. Associates at W Seattle benefit from an extensive package of benefits, including a 401(k) retirement plan, medical and dental insurance, paid time off, sick leave, and many others. These offerings support the wellbeing and growth of team members, reflecting Marriott's dedication to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

Joining W Seattle means becoming part of a dynamic team at a property that challenges conventional luxury norms and embraces creativity and innovation. It is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences within a supportive and forward-thinking company culture.
