As a Guest Environment Expert at JW Marriott, based at the 2020 Convention Center Concourse in Atlanta, Georgia, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable and unique experiences for guests beyond just providing clean rooms. This full-time, non-management role within the housekeeping department requires a hands-on and proactive approach to maintaining the hotel's appearance and cleanliness, encompassing guest room servicing and common area care. You will serve as an integral member of the team responsible for upholding the aesthetic and operational standards that define the JW Marriott brand.

The position demands a versatile skill set in various housekeeping functions, with responsibilities that include delivering guest requests, stocking supply carts, cleaning public spaces, and ensuring overall hygiene compliance throughout the hotel. While performing these duties, Guest Environment Experts are empowered to take initiative and address needs independently within their scope of work, ensuring that the spaces guests encounter contribute to a consistently exceptional experience.

Critical to success in this role are several fundamentals: maintaining a safe work environment, adhering strictly to company policies and procedures, safeguarding guest and company confidentiality, and consistently upholding quality standards. A professional appearance and communication style are also mandatory to reflect the brand's luxury status.

The physical nature of the role involves being on your feet for extended periods, including standing, walking, or sitting as needed, and engaging in manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. This active engagement ensures that every task is executed thoroughly and efficiently, directly impacting guest satisfaction and preserving the hotel’s reputation.
