The position of Guest Environment Expert is a full-time, non-management role based at the JW Marriott at 1777 Walker Street, Houston, Texas. This dynamic role goes beyond ensuring clean rooms and freshly made beds; it is about crafting memorable and unique experiences for guests. Guest Environment Experts are highly skilled individuals with diverse housekeeping functions, responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Empowered to take initiative, they move freely throughout their designated spaces to perform tasks ranging from fulfilling guest requests, stocking cleaning carts, and cleaning rooms and public areas. This role requires attention to detail and an understanding that a clean and well-maintained environment significantly contributes to a guest’s overall experience. Physically demanding, this role requires associates to be on their feet and moving for extended periods, lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
