The role available is a full-time, non-management position within the Housekeeping & Laundry category, aimed at maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the Courtyard hotel environment. The position is titled Expert in the Guest Environment, an essential part of the hospitality operations designed to ensure guests enjoy a unique and memorable stay. Those in this role will engage in a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience. Rather than simply providing a clean room and freshly made bed, this role centers on creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the high standards of Marriott and Courtyard. Responsibilities include handling guest requests promptly, restocking cleaning carts, maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas, and supporting other operational demands as needed. This dynamic role requires employees to be active and flexible, frequently moving around the hotel, standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as lifting or moving items under 50 pounds.
