The On-Demand Team Member role at Target presents a unique opportunity for individuals seeking flexible and personalized work schedules. This position is ideally suited for those who want to balance work with other commitments, as it allows Team Members to pick shifts that best fit their availability through the myTime mobile scheduling app. On-Demand Team Members are not bound by a fixed weekly schedule but instead can accept shifts posted by store leaders or other team members. This role emphasizes the importance of reliability and prompt attendance once a shift is accepted, encouraging a commitment to maintain active engagement by working at least one shift every four weeks. Failure to respond to shift offers or to work shifts regularly may result in termination of employment.

As an On-Demand Guest Advocate, your primary purpose is to enhance the guest experience by providing exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging warmly with guests, responding to their needs, and offering assistance to ensure a positive and seamless shopping experience. The Guest Advocate acts as an ambassador for Target’s brand, promoting loyalty programs, in-store and digital services, and store events while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities include efficiently scanning and bagging items, handling returns with professionalism, and assisting with order pickups and drive-up services. The Guest Advocate also plays a role in ensuring compliance with safety policies and store procedures.

To succeed in this role, candidates should be able to communicate effectively, adapt to dynamic guest interactions, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move merchandise safely, and the capacity to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Job Requirements
