Job Requirements

  • Reliable and prompt attendance
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
  • Ability to accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office functions
  • Capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Willingness to work in various temperature and environmental conditions
  • Compliance with safety policies, best practices, and training
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and make them aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
  • Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience
  • Thank guests and promote Target Loyalty programs, assisting with application or sign-up
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
