Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store and specific to your area to solve issues and improve the guest experience
  • thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
  • promote and assist with sign-up for Target loyalty programs
  • scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards
  • minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • explain features and offerings within the Target app including wallet
  • support order pick-up, drive-up and online ordering services
  • attempt every return following register prompts and policies
  • maintain a clean and clutter free work area
  • stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests
  • demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • work safely and report hazards
  • support guest services such as order pick-up and drive-up while maintaining compliance with laws
  • perform other duties based on business needs
