The position of Guest Advocate at Target revolves around delivering outstanding service and engagement with guests. Guest Advocates are advocates of the overall guest experience, whether through face-to-face engagement or digital solutions, ensuring guests feel valued and supported throughout their shopping journey. They play a key role in accommodating guest needs, handling transactions efficiently, promoting store offerings, and maintaining clean and organized workspaces.

As a Guest Advocate, responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, explaining promotions, assisting with loyalty programs, and facilitating the use of Target’s mobile app features like Wallet, Order Pick-Up, and Drive Up services. The role also involves scanning and bagging items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Guest Advocate is empowered to solve problems promptly, follow company policies during returns, support compliance with laws related to age-restricted products, and contribute to a safe and respectful workplace.
