Job Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry within the kitchen area
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Professional appearance and self-grooming
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to analyze information, identify business priorities, and problem solve
  • Standard knowledge of the main kitchen operating procedures
  • Knowledge of current basic regulations and safety standards
  • Use of kitchen machinery and knowledge of food preservation techniques
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which included, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certification of Food Handlers License
  • Qualified candidates must have the proper work authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Prepare frequently available meal ingredients such as vegetables and spices
  • Collaborate with the team in the preparation of menus
  • Ensure accurate and organized cooking station and supply inventory
  • Support the team in ensuring that dish presentations meet the set standards
  • Provide feedback on new ways to plate and present dishes
  • Develop and share ideas to increase efficiency and optimize cooking processes with attention to speed and quality
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
  • Support the management team in creating a positive and united work environment
