Securitas holds steadfast to its core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, which are embodied by every employee, fostering an environment of trust and excellence.
The role of the GSOC Intelligence & Operations Supervisor at Securitas is a critical leadership position within the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), located at a client site in Sunnyvale, CA. The Supervisor serves as the tactical coordinator during their assigned shifts, ensuring that all security operations conform to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
This position demands someone capable of high situational awareness, sound decision-making under pressure, and excellent communication skills. The Supervisor balances operational oversight with personnel management, providing coaching and mentorship to team members to maintain a high level of performance. The role also involves coordinating with the GSOC Intelligence & Operations Manager on incident investigations, trend analysis, and improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness. Working night shifts (Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am), this onsite position is pivotal in maintaining security coordination across global events that may impact client personnel, assets, or operations.
The GSOC Intelligence & Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between various internal and external security stakeholders, including on-site security, first responders, and law enforcement. This leadership role requires not only technical proficiency with security platforms like Lenel, Milestone, Dataminr, Ontic, and Onsolve but also the ability to remain calm and strategic during high-stress incidents. The Supervisor is expected to actively contribute to the development and refinement of SOPs, deliver thorough shift briefings and handovers, and support continuous improvement through monitoring operational metrics.
Securitas offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $42.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, sick days, and a 401K plan. The company promotes equal employment opportunity and values the diversity of its workforce. Employees at Securitas are empowered to live by the company’s core values, creating a consistent culture of honesty, vigilance, and readiness to assist, ensuring that security services are both effective and trusted worldwide.
