Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain widely recognized for serving the most craveable chicken finger meals, affectionately referred to as their "One Love." Established with a mission to deliver high-quality chicken meals and exceptional customer experiences, Raising Cane's is one of the fastest-growing chicken concepts in the United States. With a vibrant culture focused on a "Work Hard. Have Fun." philosophy, Raising Cane's has consistently expanded its footprint and is on the path to becoming a Top 10 restaurant brand nationally. The company attributes its explosive growth and continued success to its dedicated Crewmembers, who play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and upholding the unique Raising Cane's culture.

The role available is that of a Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader, which is a pivotal position within Raising Cane's operations. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $77,500 annually, with additional potential earnings through the Restaurant Monthly Incentive Program. This means the Total Target Cash could range from $92,696 to $105,196, depending on restaurant performance and other eligibility criteria. The base salary is influenced by factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.

As a Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader, the candidate will be responsible for supporting new restaurant openings by managing the training team and ensuring the successful development of new trainers. This position requires providing training to hourly restaurant managers and assistant restaurant leaders when deployed to different locations. The role involves overseeing daily operations at restaurants before and after opening while strictly adhering to Raising Cane’s well-established standards, policies, and culture.

The physical demands of the role require working in a fast-paced kitchen environment involving extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending. Interaction with customers is a regular part of the job. The candidate must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in varied temperatures and comply with safety protocols when using industrial equipment and commercial cleaning products.

Key responsibilities include leading the training team, organizing and overseeing new restaurant setups, enforcing company policies and standards, managing shifts that meet Raising Cane's operational and safety standards, conducting performance observations and corrective actions, supporting strategy planning and execution, and performing any other duties as assigned. The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader may also take the helm as the lead during new restaurant openings when required.

This position promises a dynamic environment with growth opportunities for those passionate about the restaurant industry and leadership roles. It requires candidates who are detail-oriented, highly organized, capable of multitasking in a constantly changing environment, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Candidates should be self-driven, flexible, and able to work both independently and within a team. They must also be adept at problem detection and resolution, goal setting, and executing plans efficiently.

Raising Cane's offers extensive benefits to its full-time restaurant managers, including medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage, as well as dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts. Other benefits include company-provided life and disability insurance, hospital indemnity, accident and critical illness coverage, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching for eligible employees. Employees have access to financial advisors and enjoy perks such as a gym membership program, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, and pet insurance. Perks for restaurant managers also include weekly pay, competitive pay plus monthly bonuses, paid time off, sick leave, eight paid holidays annually, early closure for company events, casual work attire, and employee discount programs. Some payroll schedules and holiday policies may vary by location.
