Job Requirements
- must reside in or near pierce or thurston counties
- bilingual in any language accepted, spanish preferred
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5 years of related experience
- valid driver’s license with good driving record
- reliable transportation
- ability to attend public events in outdoor venues in all weather conditions
- ability to sit and stand for long periods
- ability to drive up to 3 hours to attend events
- must be able to lift 30 pounds
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience
- 5 years of related experience in marketing, business development, community engagement, or healthcare industry
- exceptional networking and negotiation skills
- strong public speaking and presentation skills
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- fluency in a second language highly desirable, spanish preferred
- prior related work experience in a senior or lead capacity
- solid understanding of healthcare markets, primarily medicaid
- previous healthcare marketing, enrollment, and/or grassroots/community outreach experience is a plus
- 5+ years of outreach experience serving low-income populations or experience presenting to influence audiences
- 3-5 years of project management experience preferably in healthcare or outreach settings
Job Duties
- carry out enrollment events and achieve assigned membership growth targets
- train, develop, coach, and mentor new or less experienced team members
- achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals and growth targets
- develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with key business leaders, community-based organizations, and providers
- schedule, coordinate, and participate in enrollment events and encourage partner participation
- work with Provider Services to ensure provider awareness of Molina products and services and establish referral processes
- deliver presentations, attend meetings, and distribute educational materials to members and potential members
