Job Description

Princess Cruises is one of the most renowned names in the global cruising industry, widely recognized as the world's leading international premium cruise line and tour company. Carrying millions of guests each year to hundreds of destinations worldwide, Princess Cruises is celebrated for providing an exceptional travel experience, including the innovative Medallion Class experience that sets it apart from other cruise lines. This premium cruise company is dedicated to delivering memorable vacations that combine luxury, adventure, and impeccable customer service across a vast array of itineraries and onboard amenities. Princess Cruises operates with a deep commitment to environmental protection, guest safety, and the well-being of both shipboard and shoreside employees, fostering a strong corporate culture that values collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.

The role of Coordinator, Group Services at Princess Cruises is a vital position that supports the coordination and execution of group and wedding-related onboard activities, special events, in-port functions, and dining requests. This role entails communicating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including guests, Travel Advisors, incentive companies, and various internal departments both shoreside and shipboard. The Coordinator, Group Services handles the comprehensive planning and scheduling of group events and weddings, along with supporting the management and maintenance of group dining allocations across all ships in the fleet. It also involves collecting and processing payments for prepaid group events and providing critical support to onboard Events and Guest Services Supervisors.

This position requires a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who excels at managing multiple logistical factors and adapting to changing circumstances swiftly and efficiently. Challenges in this role can range from last-minute venue or event adjustments to dealing with complex booking issues, making strong problem-solving skills essential. The Coordinator is expected to collaboratively work within a diverse team environment, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth execution of events and excellent service delivery.

Princess Cruises offers a work environment that combines a designated office presence in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area with options for remote work on Fridays, making it attractive for candidates in or willing to relocate to South Florida. Travel, though less than 25%, is an integral part of this role, primarily involving shipboard visits to provide operational support at short notice. The position emphasizes maintaining professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and a positive team spirit.

Overall, this is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience or interest in customer service, event planning, hospitality, or sales to join a world-class cruise line renowned for its premium offerings and commitment to excellence. Candidates who are guest-centric, organized, and proactive with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences are ideal for this role. The company also provides comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, travel privileges, professional development opportunities, and various incentives that enhance employee satisfaction and growth. Princess Cruises’ commitment to equal opportunity employment and accessibility further underscores its dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
