The Mid-Market Group Sales Manager position at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is a pivotal role within the sales department. This role requires a highly competent individual with experience in hotel sales, quota management, and a strong understanding of hotel operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling guest rooms, typically from 150 to 450 on peak nights, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to various customer groups. This role involves managing accounts, conducting site inspections, soliciting and generating new business, and preparing and presenting effective proposals. The Mid-Market Group Sales Manager must maintain organized documentation and reports, utilize Hyatt’s sales systems, and coordinate customer service requirements as needed. Collaboration is key, as the manager will work closely with the sales and catering teams, administrative assistants, and other support staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Additionally, participating in event meetings and sales staff meetings is an integral part of this position.
The salary range for this role is between $88,900 and $100,900, reflecting the hotel's commitment to competitive and fair compensation based on experience and education. Job Requirements
