Job Requirements
- minimum of 1-3 years hotel sales or comparable experience
- proficient in general computer knowledge
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- willing to participate in sales and event meetings
- capable of preparing business proposals
- team collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training preferred
- training in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills preferred
Job Duties
- selling guest rooms to customer groups
- managing accounts and generating new business
- conducting site inspections
- preparing and presenting effective proposals
- maintaining organized documentation and reports
- coordinating with catering and support staff
- participating in and leading sales and event meetings
