In addition to fostering business development, the Sales Manager will play a leadership role by interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring sales staff to build a proficient team. Performance management is also a key facet of this position, involving the evaluation of employee productivity, resolving workplace issues, and implementing disciplinary measures or terminations as necessary to maintain a high standard of professionalism. Effective communication is essential, requiring the Sales Manager to provide clear direction both verbally and in writing to staff and clients alike.

The Sales Manager is expected to travel locally to maintain relationships, scout competition, and promote the hotel in diverse business settings. They will be responsible for preparing comprehensive information packets for client meetings and engaging in exemplary hospitality such as entertaining clients to cultivate strong partnerships. The role requires flexibility to perform physical tasks related to trade show setups including lifting and reaching, as well as ensuring consistent availability and adherence to attendance policies.

This full-time career opportunity offers a chance to align with a brand where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is supported. At Hotel Vance, we foster a culture where you belong, care is paramount, and shining bright in your role is encouraged. Join us in delivering unparalleled guest experiences and advancing your career in the vibrant hospitality industry.
