The Group Sales Coordinator position at Kohler is a full-time, onsite role based in Kohler, WI, with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This job is pivotal in supporting the group's sales team to maximize occupancy and achieve financial goals for Kohler-owned hospitality businesses. The role requires a dual focus: administrative support and active sales initiatives. Administratively, the Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing proposals, contracts, client communication, reports, and liaison activities between sales and conference services teams. On the sales front, the role involves targeted outreach, prospecting, site visits, strategic marketing plan execution, and event coordination within approved budgets.

The position demands excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and familiarity with sales management software like Delphi and Resort Suite. Candidates typically hold a four-year college degree and must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. The hourly pay ranges from $22.50 to $33.80, depending on education and experience.

Job Requirements

  • Four year college degree preferable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Delphi and Resort Suite preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Excellent phone skills

Job Duties

  • Generate proposals within 12 hours and complete all client contracts within 24 hours
  • Respond to client emails in a timely manner within 24 hours
  • Communicate contract due dates and proactively follow up with clients
  • Create, develop and produce clean and accurate reports for managing and measuring sales team performance
  • Provide consistent and timely delivery of services to clients
  • Act as liaison between Sales and Conference Services teams
  • Make monthly phone calls to past groups as assigned
  • Make prospecting calls and schedule appointments
  • Conduct site visits for qualified clients
  • Pursue additional group sales revenues through solicitation
  • Create and execute marketing plans for defined target markets
  • Organize assigned events, maintaining timelines and approved budgets
