Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a reservations or group coordinator
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education required, Previous reservations or group coordinator experience required, Ability to work varying schedules reflecting hotel business needs, Attendance at all mandatory training sessions and meetings required, Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred, Bachelor’s degree preferred, Experience with Delphi reservation system preferred
Job Duties
- Assist in processing all incoming group reservations, Review rooming lists for accuracy in format and billing, Process all room and dining reservations received via multiple channels, Consistently meet department standards and complete all details accurately, Send confirmation and literature requests or reply to client correspondence, Adhere to department standards using guest names and established scripts, Assist guests and associates with voicemail and messages, Be well-informed to answer guest questions about the resort, Follow wake-up call procedures to ensure timely completion, Follow emergency procedures during calls of an emergency nature, Attend preconvention meetings promptly and prepared, Develop good relations with meeting planners to meet their requests, Communicate closely with Catering and Sales Managers for group success, Maintain open communication between Reservations and Catering teams, Keep Reservation Communications team informed on Call-In Groups and Wedding Blocks, Handle administrative duties as assigned
