Job Description
Hilton is a global leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering an award-winning workplace culture. Founded with a vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, Hilton has welcomed over 3 billion guests worldwide through its portfolio of world-class brands. The company prides itself on cultivating an environment where Team Members are valued and supported, reflected in its numerous accolades such as being frequently listed among the World's Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Hilton's dedication to innovation and excellence sets new standards in the travel and hospitality sector, making it a coveted employer for those seeking a rewarding and meaningful career.
The role of Group Reservations Manager at Hilton is a pivotal position within the hotel’s management team. This role goes beyond managing the operational facets of reservations to embodying Hilton’s core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. As a Group Reservations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring the smooth handling of room inventory, group blocks, rate restrictions, occupancy strategies, and the effective use of reservation systems. Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating closely with sales and events teams to align group bookings and corporate rates with the hotel’s revenue goals. Furthermore, you will manage relationships with third-party booking agents and platforms to optimize conversions and negotiate favorable rates.
This role demands an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maximizing hotel occupancy and revenue through strategic planning and data analysis. Preparing reports on occupancy, revenue, and forecasts will be crucial in shaping departmental decisions and hotel strategies. An essential part of the role also involves leadership—supervising, mentoring, and motivating the reservations team while fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with Hilton’s values.
Hilton offers unmatched support and benefits to its Team Members, including incredible travel perks such as deeply discounted rates at world-class hotels through the Go Hilton program, an employee stock purchase program, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, crisis concierge services, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and retirement plans for financial security. These benefits not only demonstrate Hilton’s commitment to employee wellbeing but also create an environment where staff can thrive both professionally and personally.
Joining Hilton means becoming part of a global community dedicated to excellence in hospitality where every Team Member plays a significant role in making stays memorable and meaningful. The Group Reservations Manager position offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact, grow your career, and be part of a forward-thinking company that values its people as much as its guests. Hilton encourages you to bring your passion for hospitality and leadership to their team and contribute to the ongoing success and legacy of a brand that is synonymous with quality and care.
