Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or hospitality management or related field
  • Previous hotel experience in reservations, front office, sales and catering preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with PMS systems experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or hospitality management or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
  • Previous hotel experience in reservations, front office, sales and catering is preferred but not necessary
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • excellent communication, organization, and service-oriented people skills
  • Experience working PMS systems

Job Duties

  • Act as the primary resource for operational and administrative functions for group block management including building blocks, managing group inventory, billing, pre-arrival, and post departure tasks
  • Respond to all inquiries accurately, timely and in a professional manner
  • Work closely with sales and catering managers and assist with group blocks, monitor cut off dates and billing details
  • Create group booking links for groups and assist wedding blocks
  • Assist with processing deposit and payments, closing house accounts
  • Process and handle group rooming lists, reservations, and associate reservation requests by inputting data into the reservations system
  • Attend weekly pick up meeting
  • Assist with printing needs menus, parking vouchers, breakfast vouchers
  • Always display a neat and business-like appearance
  • Assist with VIP tour planning and gift preparation, check rooms, meeting space, and amenities
  • Provide site tours of guestrooms if needed
  • Use strong technical skills in Word, Excel, Outlook along with good internet navigation skills
