Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing or hospitality management or related field
- Previous hotel experience in reservations, front office, sales and catering preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with PMS systems experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in marketing or hospitality management or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
- Previous hotel experience in reservations, front office, sales and catering is preferred but not necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- excellent communication, organization, and service-oriented people skills
- Experience working PMS systems
Job Duties
- Act as the primary resource for operational and administrative functions for group block management including building blocks, managing group inventory, billing, pre-arrival, and post departure tasks
- Respond to all inquiries accurately, timely and in a professional manner
- Work closely with sales and catering managers and assist with group blocks, monitor cut off dates and billing details
- Create group booking links for groups and assist wedding blocks
- Assist with processing deposit and payments, closing house accounts
- Process and handle group rooming lists, reservations, and associate reservation requests by inputting data into the reservations system
- Attend weekly pick up meeting
- Assist with printing needs menus, parking vouchers, breakfast vouchers
- Always display a neat and business-like appearance
- Assist with VIP tour planning and gift preparation, check rooms, meeting space, and amenities
- Provide site tours of guestrooms if needed
- Use strong technical skills in Word, Excel, Outlook along with good internet navigation skills
