The position of Group Manager, Product - Beverage, within the Menu Experience - Beverage organization, is a pivotal leadership role at Starbucks. This role is dedicated to shaping the future of Starbucks Beverage offerings across North America. The successful candidate will lead a talented team of product managers who are responsible for guiding the strategic direction and development of the beverage portfolio. This involves a strong partnership with various departments including Marketing, Product Development, Digital, and Operations to ensure the delivery of seasonal innovations and a robust product pipeline that drive business performance while enhancing customer engagement and partner experience.

This position demands someone who is highly customer-focused and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to lead with optimism and a collaborative spirit. The Group Manager will be instrumental in aligning seasonal product strategies with enterprise priorities, leveraging business performance data, customer insights, and industry trends to define clear, actionable priorities. Responsibilities include translating insights into compelling product concepts, guiding the development and testing of new products, and ensuring seamless execution from ideation through to the customer experience. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-10+ years of relevant brand management experience
  • 6-10+ years of project leadership in cross-functional environments
  • proven experience in product strategy development and implementation
  • financial forecasting and analytic skills with 5+ years experience
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
  • customer focused mindset
  • willingness to work onsite four days a week

Job Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in brand management, 6-10+ years
  • project leadership in a cross-functional environment, 6-10+ years
  • progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing products or strategies
  • experience in financial forecasting, in-depth analytics, business case development and P&L management, 5+ years
  • experience managing others, 3+ years
  • MBA strongly preferred
