Job Description

Concord Hospitality is a leading hotel management company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a positive work environment for its associates. With a strong emphasis on quality, integrity, community, profitability, and fun, Concord Hospitality has built a reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry. The company manages a diverse portfolio of hotels that prioritize outstanding customer service and quality accommodations. At Concord, the culture is shaped by its five Cornerstones, which serve as the foundation for all operations and employee engagement initiatives. The company is committed to promoting from within and supporting the personal and professional development of its employees through comprehensive training programs and career advancement opportunities. Concord Hospitality values diversity, work-life balance, and an inclusive workplace where every associate is recognized and appreciated for their contributions. They maintain a drug-free workplace and are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer, welcoming candidates of all backgrounds to join their team.

We are currently seeking a full-time Group Housing Coordinator to join our dynamic team with a schedule from 9am to 5pm and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour. As a Group Housing Coordinator at Concord, you serve as a vital link between the front desk and the sales team, playing an essential role in the success of the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to manage incoming reservation calls for groups and meetings, assisting the sales team with contract management, room blocks, and communication across hotel departments to ensure our guests and corporate clients receive the highest level of service as promised.

This role offers a tremendous opportunity for growth, where many Group Housing Coordinators have advanced to sales managers and even Director of Sales positions. You will act as a first point of contact for sales inquiries, delivering prompt, professional, and courteous communication to both internal associates and external clients. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will handle vital administrative tasks such as managing room blocks, preparing client notifications about critical deadlines, assisting with group resumes, event orders, billing, and other duties essential to the booking and execution of group events.

Additionally, you will be deeply involved in coordinating event logistics, tracking event details, and facilitating communication between clients and internal partners to ensure seamless event execution. This position also requires learning and utilizing hotel sales software systems like Delphi and PMS, understanding the hotel’s sales strategies including rates, fees, and budget goals, and implementing these tools to meet team objectives. Your participation in internal meetings, training sessions, and reporting is crucial to maintaining alignment with the company’s sales and operational standards.

At Concord, fostering teamwork and an entrepreneurial spirit is highly encouraged. You are expected to take ownership of your career development by seeking out training and learning opportunities that enhance your skills and prepare you for future advancement. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a thriving, supportive environment, the Group Housing Coordinator position at Concord Hospitality offers an excellent platform for both career growth and professional satisfaction.
