REM Community Services, a member of the Sevita family, is dedicated to delivering compassionate and community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of a larger network, Sevita has built a reputable legacy over more than 50 years by focusing on the empowerment and independence of those they serve. Their mission reflects a core philosophy that every individual has the right to live well and that meaningful relationships and supportive environments are key to fulfilling lives. Sevita employs over 40,000 team members nationwide, serving approximately 50,000 individuals across the United States, making it one of the leading providers of home and community-based specialized health care. The organization embraces diversity and inclusivity, maintaining a strict commitment to equal opportunity employment without discrimination across various protected categories.

This full-time caregiver position at Sevita offers a starting pay of $21.00 per hour. The role involves assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy a better quality of life through daily support and community engagement. As a caregiver at Sevita, you will be part of a mission-driven team devoted to helping people learn, grow, and live fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include helping participants with personal hygiene, supporting them through behavioral challenges, and assisting with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. This role requires compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of others.

Sevita encourages caregivers to form meaningful connections with the people they support, which fosters trust and motivation within the team. Employees receive empowerment and autonomy to make decisions that prioritize the well-being of participants, allowing for a sense of ownership over your work. Moreover, this role offers a supportive environment with supervisors who genuinely care for both the participants and the staff, creating a positive and nurturing workplace culture. At Sevita, you will be given the opportunity to help participants become active members of their communities by enjoying their favorite activities and pursuing their personal goals.

Beyond the intrinsic rewards of caregiving, Sevita offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with a company match of 3%. They also provide Pay on Demand, which allows you quicker access to earned wages. Additionally, the company invests in your professional development by offering continuous training and resources to build a fulfilling career. Join Sevita today to become part of a dedicated team that values your contributions and strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.
