The Group Home Assistant Manager role at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is a vital position that supports both clients and staff within the group home setting. This leadership role involves providing exceptional direct care to clients, assisting with personal and medical needs, and facilitating daily living skills. The Assistant Manager also plays a key role in supporting the Group Home Manager with operational responsibilities such as managing financial statements, maintaining medical equipment, and coordinating client healthcare appointments. In addition, this position is centered on building strong relationships with Direct Care Staff, developing retention strategies to maintain a dedicated team environment, and participating in fun community activities and outings for clients.
This role requires availability for after-hours support and call-ins, demonstrating the organization's commitment to continuous client care. Job Duties
- Provide outstanding care to all clients by assisting with personal care, medical care, and daily living skills
- Develop meaningful relationships with all Direct Care Staff and build retention strategies to support staff members
- Support Group Home Manager by participating in Group Home administration duties, such as assisting with financial statements, maintaining medical equipment, and assisting with client doctor appointments
- Plan and participate in clients' favorite activities and community outings
- Maintain availability to assist with after-hours support and call-ins
