Job Description

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is a compassionate organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For over 30 years, Easterseals has operated eight welcoming Group Homes that provide safe, kind, and caring environments where clients feel valued, respected, and supported. The center is committed to delivering the highest level of care and fostering meaningful relationships with clients, their families, and the surrounding community. Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is recognized for creating a culture of trust and respect that strengthens the bonds between caregivers, clients, and families. This legacy has made Easterseals a trusted provider in the field of rehabilitation and supportive care services.

The Group Home Assistant Manager role is a vital position within the Easterseals team. This role is designed for an empathetic leader with a passion for helping others, particularly those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Assistant Manager will provide direct and outstanding care to clients by assisting with personal care, medical needs, and daily living skills. In addition to supporting clients, this role actively supports the Direct Care Staff by cultivating positive relationships and building retention strategies that ensure a stable and motivated team. The Assistant Manager also plays a significant part in the management of the group homes by assisting the Group Home Manager with administrative duties, managing medical equipment, maintaining financial records, and coordinating client doctor appointments.

This role is unique in that it balances hands-on caregiving with leadership and administrative responsibilities. The Assistant Manager enjoys planning and participating in clients' favorite activities and community outings, fostering a joyful and engaging environment. Availability for after-hours support and call-ins is also required, highlighting the role’s commitment to continuous and comprehensive client support. If you are a team-oriented, positive, driven, and understanding leader, you will find this position fulfilling and rewarding. Easterseals embraces diversity and inclusion and is committed to providing a supportive work environment where every employee can thrive.

By joining Easterseals Rehabilitation Center as a Group Home Assistant Manager, you are not only embarking on a career dedicated to service and leadership but also joining a supportive community that values your contributions and growth. The position offers competitive pay, early access to wages, and a full benefits package for employees who work 35 or more hours per week, including a 401(k) plan with an employer match. Paid time off and holiday pay are also provided to ensure employees can rest and recharge. Furthermore, ongoing training and career development opportunities are in place to help you advance within the organization. Easterseals prides itself on creating a collaborative environment where supervisors and administrative teams are readily available to support you. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a rewarding career in a compassionate, dynamic, and growth-oriented organization.
