We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Administrative Specialist to join the administrative team at the New Orleans Marriott. This full-time, non-management position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.50 and requires flexibility in shift scheduling. The Property Administrative Specialist plays an integral role in supporting various hotel departments, such as Guest Services, Engineering, and Food & Beverage, by providing crucial administrative assistance that keeps operations running smoothly.

This role involves preparing documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software, and acting as a key liaison between the Sales Office and clients throughout all phases of event coordination—including pre-event planning, event execution, and post-event follow-ups. The specialist will also be the point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to uphold the high standards of Marriott hospitality.

Success in this role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and upholding quality standards. Professionalism in personal appearance, uniform, and communication is essential to represent the brand effectively. Additionally, the Property Administrative Specialist must foster positive working relationships across departments, work collaboratively to achieve team objectives, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds, as well as the capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. The position also demands flexibility with shifts, a strong customer service orientation, and preferably experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), Marsha event software, and previous event coordination.

As part of Marriott International's luxury JW Marriott brand portfolio, the New Orleans Marriott represents the epitome of refined hospitality. JW Marriott associates are known for their confidence, innovation, authenticity, and dedication to continuing the legacy of the brand's founder, J. Willard Marriott. Joining this team means becoming part of a global family committed to delivering "Wonderful Hospitality. Always." You will find opportunities for recognition, professional development, and a supportive environment to pursue your passions and become the best version of yourself.
