Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or related field
- Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including call during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or support at other properties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license to operate property vehicles such as golf carts
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance procedures
- Basic customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to the make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage area, and clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make-ready specialist in the turnover process
- Change all locks according to the property’s policy and ensure pool gate operations comply with safety codes and standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed
- Inform supervisors of any observed hazards or potentially dangerous situations affecting residents, team members, or guests
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect, addressing resident questions, and responding sensitively to maintenance service complaints
- Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required OSHA training, and reporting accidents promptly and accurately
