The available role is an essential part of Greystar’s property management team and focuses on maintaining the physical aspects of the residential community to ensure a high standard of aesthetics, safety, and functionality. The position involves inspecting the community regularly to keep grounds, amenities, and common areas free of litter, debris, and pet waste, thereby sustaining an attractive and welcoming environment for residents and guests. The role also requires performing minor maintenance and service tasks, assisting in apartment turnover preparations, and ensuring that all safety regulations and property policies are adhered to, such as locking gates and changing locks as needed. This position reports to the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and works collaboratively with other team members to deliver superior customer service. Strong attention to detail, proactive safety awareness, and effective communication skills are vital to success in this position.
The hourly pay range for this role is between $21.00 and $23.00, reflecting consideration of factors such as experience, skills, and location. Bonus opportunities may be available depending on the role classification and company performance, including quarterly or annual bonuses at the corporate level or more frequent incentives for onsite property staff. Temporary team members also benefit from access to an Employee Assistance Program and paid sick time as part of the comprehensive support package. - distribute notices and communications to residents
- report hazards and safety concerns promptly
- demonstrate good customer service by addressing resident inquiries and complaints
- comply with safety and risk management policies including attending safety meetings and completing required training
