This role is based at the Strawberry Hill property in Charlotte, North Carolina. Strawberry Hill is a stabilized garden-style apartment community consisting of 581 units. This full-time position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule. The role focuses on ensuring the physical aspects of the community are well-maintained to meet high standards. This includes maintaining the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal of the property. The individual filling this role will provide essential support to the service team members to help maintain a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include inspecting the community regularly to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, as well as keeping all common areas and amenities clean and appealing at all times. The role involves removing trash from vacant apartments before turnover, assisting in property maintenance tasks such as changing locks and ensuring pool gates operate safely, and distributing resident communications as needed. The person in this role must demonstrate excellent customer service skills by respectfully interacting with residents and promptly addressing maintenance-related concerns. Furthermore, compliance with company safety and risk management policies is critical, including attending safety meetings, completing OSHA and other required safety training, and promptly reporting any incidents or hazardous conditions.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license for the operation of a golf cart on property and be capable of lifting and moving weights of up to 25 pounds independently. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $22.00, with additional compensation opportunities such as bonus programs based on performance. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and report hazards
  • Ability to operate golf cart
  • Prior property maintenance or service experience preferred

Job Qualifications
