This role at Greystar is for a Groundskeeper/Porter position supporting two specific properties: Broadstone Ayrsley, a garden-style residential community, and Ayrsley Lofts, a mid-rise property, both located in Charlotte, North Carolina. These two sites combined manage a substantial number of residential units, with Broadstone Ayrsley having 320 units and Ayrsley Lofts featuring 230 units. The position requires the candidate to maintain both properties, ensuring outstanding curb appeal and high standards for community grounds and amenities.

As a Groundskeeper/Porter, you will play an essential role in preserving the cleanliness, safety, and overall aesthetic of the communities. This is a full-time, multi-site role where you will be responsible for routine inspections throughout the day to clear litter, debris, and pet waste, maintaining common areas to the highest standards. Additional duties include handling trash removal, supporting apartment turnover processes, performing minor maintenance tasks, and ensuring security protocols are met, such as managing pool gate safety and changing locks according to property policies.

This role requires a proactive approach to customer service as you will frequently interact with residents, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and respect. Safety is a key component, and you will be expected to participate in routine safety meetings while adhering to OSHA requirements and company risk management policies. Physical demands are significant, needing stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, performing tasks that include lifting, bending, and operating a golf cart on the property.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage range of $16.00 to $18.00, with compensation dependent on experience, skills, and location. Additional bonuses based on individual and company performance may apply.
